Recyled summer art materials

I save empty plastic bowls, take out food containers and toilet paper rolls, tin cans  all year and reuse them artfully.  This year I have added milk cartons that have side screw tops and sticks.
Milk cartons will be made into Star Wars bird feeders

Cans will be covered in felt and be the base of the wooded Ewalk Planters
Sticks will be used to create wooded planters

Used for legs on the Star Wars AT-AT Walkers

Easy Nail Polish Pendants Nanny Jill Style

             Pretty Pendants for special people

Ceramic Pendants made by Nanny Jill

Easy Nail Polish Pendants Nanny Jill Style

These were made by one of my favorite 2 year old's
for some of his special people

Made with Simple rolled balls of clay that were flattened
kids usually pretend they are making meatballs then smash them into flat coin like disks. We used clay but you could easily use salt dough that is baked or Sculpy Clay that is inexpensive and can be found at any craft store that is baked in the oven.  The fun part is using fingernail polish to paint the pendants.   The dollar store has tons of colors of nail polish and they also have $1 nail polish remover.
